GRIFT's style is rather special. Sure, there are black metal influences, but far less than on previous releases. Also the vocals are still desperate and extreme, but mainly "Budet" is a dark nordic folk album with uncommon instruments, Swedish lyrics and complex songwriting. For a quick check listen to "Vita Arkiv", the most accessible and touching track of the album!
